I’ve been working on a project called ARBots (Augmented Reality Robots) for the next iOS operating system.

This past weekend I added a new animation (bellydancing) and a new lighting technique (skybox). While completely unplanned, the combination of the dance and the lighting created a fairly sexy effect. The videos below remind me of the opening credits for a James Bond movie.

I have a new appreciation for how important lighting is for setting the mood.
