Today, starting around 3 pm PDT, twitter suddenly started to struggle for me.
It started with a failed reply attempt.
Next no tweets would even load.
Next, after some tweets were coming up, I still couldn’t post. Errors like these were coming up:
Message at the bottom of the screen when trying to post or reply
Message at the top of the screen when trying to post or reply
When no messages even came up
As of 3:40 pm, it is still down.
Much earlier today I saw someone posting that they had similar problems earlier.
Has Twitter reached its network, storage, or computational capacity?
Is this another example of a misconfigured server or DNS entry that will take a while to sort itself out?
Is twitter under a cyber attack? (It has come under a lot of right-wing verbal attack in the last 24 hours for blocking links to a story that may have been part of a Russian disinformation campaign)
Is this another accidental backhoe cyber attack where a critical data cable was cut?
Is it just me and my local access?
If it is down for everyone, is Trump freaking out right now?
